“Noisy Nest”
For this activity, I made 5 peekaboo nest flannels with 5 different birds to hide underneath. I recited the rhyme and made the bird’s sound before uncovering each one.
“Noisy Nest”
Just as I lay down to rest,
What noisy bird is in that nest?!?!
Go through each nest and make a different bird sound
Crow… Caw
Owl… Hoot
Baby bird… Tweet
Mama bird… Chirp
“Knicky, Knacky, Knocky, Knoo”
This is a varition of the original “Knicky, Knacky, Knocky, Knoo” song. I wanted to emphasize that n- sound, but with a shorter, more toddler friendly activity.
